All about Brian
Who I am…
…depends on who you talk to!
First and foremost, I’m a father to my daughter, Amelia, who is still a newborn. I’m a husband to my wife, Ashley, who is an amazing professor and nurse at UCSF. I’m a doting dog-dad to our 2 sweet pups, Sansa and Leia. I’m a photographer for family, friends and newly weds. I’m a coach to a girls U11 soccer team (go Eagles!). I’m a student to my guitar instructor. And most importantly, I’m someone who believes in the power of others to build connection and create a social fabric where we can all thrive.
How I work…
I’ve been practicing my research craft in the private sector for over a decade at large tech companies on the west coast. My passion is to inform meaningful user experiences through strategic research and product thinking.
I take great pride in my work, and hope to craft experiences that better people’s lives for the long term. I crave rigor and debate in order to make the best possible products. To me, there’s nothing more fulfilling that gathering data and pulling into a story that not only a team, but a company can get behind.
My goal is to use the research tools I’ve garnered over the years to invigorate timely and actionable strategic and product thinking, for new horizons or holistic product execution.
